Where you stay in Agonda
Four kinds of room at the school, from a single to a three-share. Rooms are booked separately from the course fee.
The rooms
These are the actual rooms, photographed as they are. Availability changes by season, so tell us your dates when you apply and we will say what is free.
Deluxe room
The largest of the rooms, with its own bathroom.
Studio room
A room with a small kitchen area, for anyone staying a full four weeks.
Double room
A double bed and an en-suite shower.
Three-share room
Three single beds. The cheapest option, and the one where you make friends fastest.
What is and is not included
Accommodation and food are not part of the course fee. That is deliberate: students stay for very different lengths of time and want very different things, and bundling it would make the course more expensive for the people who need it least.
Beyond the school there are huts, villas, small resorts and rooms in family homes all along the beach, and Agonda is cheaper than Palolem for the same standard. Plenty of students book their own and are happy with it.
You will not be in the room much
People agonise over which room to book and then spend the month on a table, on the sand, or at somebody else’s dinner table. The room is where you sleep, and after a full day of giving and receiving massage you will sleep well in any of them.
Pick on budget. Nobody has ever finished a course wishing they had paid more for the bed.
