About Yoga Teacher Training Course
Yoga comes from ‘yoke’ which means ‘to unite’. This is our big goal for this training. We want you to feel united to your truest self, the people around you and, ultimately, to the Divine. So you can see how whole you already are and learn how to inspire others by teaching yoga.
o Confidence in using your own voice to teach well.
o Tips and insight on how to work as a yoga teacher.
o Experience in meditation and how to teach it well.
o An important aspect of your yoga journey.
o Being kind, gentle and supportive towards yourself in Yoga.
o Guiding your students from your own self-realisation.
Tradition of Yoga
When we talk about yoga we mean a lot more than just the asanas! Yes, you will learn the postures well and understand how to practice and teach them safely but breath-work and meditation will get just as much attention. Then there is also Mantra, Bandha, Mudras and more. Learning about all these aspects of traditional Tantric Hatha Yoga will make you a unique yoga teacher and set you apart from most yoga teachers out there today. That’s our promise to you!
We value the tradition of yoga and want you to understand the science behind it. You will learn about the chakras, Prana, Sanskrit, Kundalini and more, both from the ancient viewpoint and what modern science has to say about that. Then there is the fascinating history and philosophy of yoga, which will come alive as we see how we can translate them into the modern days and our own lives.
What an important aspect on the yoga journey! Isn’t that why we want to do yoga in the first place? To heal all aspects of ourselves? Physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually? There will be a lot of space for that.
You will be heard and supported throughout your journey with us. One of the benefits of being in a small group is that you won’t slip under the radar and we’ll be able to serve you best. Healing often comes with old ‘stuff’ that needs to be looked at to be released. We’ve been there and we’re here for you.
We will talk a great deal about Ayurveda, yogas sister science. Once you find out what serves you best, not only in your diet but also lifestyle and yoga praxis, life can flow a lot easier. This also means that you will be able to tailor the yoga to your future students a lot better by understanding what they need at a specific time and place.
Sequence of Yoga
You will learn how to sequence and teach yoga classes and how to do that really well. You will learn what it takes to become a brilliant public speaker and how to get the self confidence to actually go out there and TEACH after the training. We want you to be able to make this your career if that’s what you’re looking for and will give you all the tips we’ve got. It will make us really happy to see how you too are spreading the healing power of yoga so we want to prepare you best for your journey. That’s our goal for you.
